From 14 September to 29 October 2023, discover our new equestrain show, an ode to the horse cultures of the world !
What is a totem? According to the French Larousse dictionary, a totem is an: “animal or plant considered as the ancestor and/or protector of a community or an individual”. During this health crisis period, people became more aware, striving to know themselves better. To know what they want and don’t want. Rediscovering the power of connections, of human contact, friendship, simple pleasures, the need to be together, united. This is why, after these two difficult years, Sophie Bienaimé wanted to pay homage to the horse.
Colours, dances, vaulting, enchanting music and flamboyant costumes… TOTEM, the new creation by the Château de Chantilly Equestrian Troop pays tribute to the horse and to the horse cultures of the world.
A multi-coloured show, a true “celebration” enacted by the eight horsewomen of the Great Stables Equestrian Troop, their thirty horses, donkeys and ponies, three dancers and one acrobat. A show that will take you on a journey, where you will discover riders from all over the world and lost civilisations: Aztecs, Amerindians, Mongols, Scythes, Indians, Abyssinian horsewomen…
